Commissioned mural by Ash Keating for a 300 metre long hoarding surrounding the site for the Mirvac and Milieu led LIV Albert Fields development.
On the east side of the site, golden hues mimic the bursts of first colour at sunrise and late fading sunset skies. To the north, violets, blues and magentas are a nod to endemic flowers of the area, while the deeper golds, earthy reds and muted greys to the west speak to the history of the brickworks and factories from years past. The work aims to be vibrant without being garish - much like Brunswick and its people - a place where people from all over coalesce as a strong, supportive community. It offers a space for contemplation as much as it enlivens the parklands, where children play, adults exercise and dogs run free.
